Expropriate
Originally made for the Fuck Capitalism Jam 2026

Take control of your destiny. Take control of the economy.
In EXPROPRIATE you fight back against the Imperial Core as it tries to strangle your economy through neocolonialism. Nationalise your industries before the Core can privatise your entire economy.
How to play
Using your Solidarity, nationalise production levels by clicking on the buttons on each level. Buy special bonuses in your university using the goods produced. You need to be quick, before the goods are sold by the Core.

Good jam game! I do love to expropriate private companies ;)
I think a way to improve the game if you wish to would be to add little "events" and storytelling notifications, like little pop ups which tells in a narrative way what happens when do you this or that, or when the Core fights back. I think the difficulty could be upgraded a little too, even if it's nice to win easily against Capitalism for a change :p
Regarding the other comment, I do think it's close enough to an idle game, but that's not a genre I'm really used to play so I could be wrong.
This isn't an idle game project, you should really only tag it idle if it is going to be an idle game.
Thanks for the comment, fixed it. I had honestly forgotten that I had put idle in the tags, as I made the page before I had started working properly on the idea so it changed quite a bit from what I had first envisioned.
